The Train Department said that starting on Thursday, vehicular traffic on the main line close to the Polgahawela railway station on the A-19 road will be prohibited for four days.
As a result, from 7 am to 6 pm, the Polgahawela-Kegalla railway crossing road will be closed for maintenance.
To reduce traffic, motorists are recommended to take alternate routes.
