An investigation has been opened into the event in Nugegoda when someone interfered with the work of two Motor Traffic Police officers.
Social media users have been sharing video of the person loudly insulting two police officers who had allegedly arrested him for breaking traffic laws.
According to reports, the incident happened in Nugegoda close to the Delaknada junction.
The Police Department has reportedly opened an investigation into the event.
