Sajith Premadasa has been chosen by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya to lead the party in 2023.
The choice was made on Sunday during the annual party convention held in Colombo at Campbell Park.
Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka was chosen to lead the SJB, while MP Ranjith Madduma Bandara was chosen to serve as the organization’s general secretary.
While Dr. Harsha de Silva was named the party’s treasurer, MP Tissa Attanayake was named the SJB’s national organizer.
