Wasantha Mudalige, the convenor of the Inter-University Students Federation, has been remanded in custody until tomorrow.
He was remanded in custody until the Attorney General received further advice.
Prison officials brought him before the Colombo Additional Magistrate’s Court today.
He was arrested under the Prevention of Terrorism Act and held under detention orders for 89 days before being brought before a court on November 17th.
