On Thursday, August 8th, in the evening, the Parliament will hold the final vote on the 2023 appropriation bill of the 2023 Budget.
On November 14th, Ranil Wickremesinghe, Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization, and National Policies, gave the opening remarks at the Second Reading of the Appropriations Bill in Parliament.
The debate over the Appropriations Bill’s Second Reading began on November 15; the Second Reading was put to a vote on November 22.
The Committee Stage of the Appropriations Bill is now being discussed, and a vote will take place on December 8th.
